The Robinson Christmas Parade, sponsored by EDUCATORS CREDIT UNION, has been rescheduled for Thursday, December 12, 2013, at 6:30 p.m.
Santa will be making an appearance in the parade and at the park, thanks to FIDELITY BANK OF TEXAS.
Come see the Reindeer Roundup after the parade graciously sponsored by CINDY MOSLEY, WEALTH STRATEGIST – THE HELTON, BROWNING AND MOSLEY WEALTH MANAGEMENT GROUP.
There is no entry fee to enter the parade, and anyone in the community is invited to enter, including businesses, churches, school groups, and other community organizations or individuals. (Sorry, there will be NO four-wheelers/ATVs, or motorcycles allowed in the parade.)
Line-up is first come and begins at 5 p.m. at the High School. Floats and entries may enter from the Foster street side of the High School. Judging will be from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. only. Entries that are not registered will not be allowed to participate. Upon registration your entry will be provided with a registration number. The number should be displayed and clearly visible to the judges the evening of the parade.
A traveling plaque will be awarded to the best business entry. Cash prizes of $100, $75 and $50 will be awarded to winning Non-business entries. We encourage Classic Cars and Antique Tractors to ride in the Parade (not eligible for prizes).
We ask that no other “Santas” participate.
Deadline for entries is Friday, November 29th. Entry forms should be mailed to: Christmas Parade, 111 West Lyndale, Robinson TX, 76706, or delivered to City Hall.
