THE ROBINSON CITY COUNCIL WILL MEET ON TUESDAY, JUNE 10, 2008 AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL ROOM AT ROBINSON CITY HALL, 111 WEST LYNDALE, ROBINSON, TEXAS TO CONSIDER AND ACT ON THE ITEMS ON THE FOLLOWING AGENDA

 

1.         Call to order.

2.         Invocation.

3.         Roll call.

4.         Approval of minutes: May 20, 2008.

5.         Citizen comments: Citizens may be heard on any subject but no discussion by or with Council will be held on any matter not listed on an official agenda as required by law.

6.         PUBLIC HEARING*: Consider modifying or eliminating Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Part 2, Section 2.106, Land Use in the R-1P Residential Patio Home District and to consider amending Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Part 5, Section 5.1, Subsection 5.101(A) establishing minimum lot size requirements for R-1 and R1-M Districts.

7.         Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Modifying or eliminating Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Part 2, Section 2.106, Land Use in the R-1P Residential Patio Home District.

8.         Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Amending Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Part 5, Section 5.1, Subsection 5.101(A) establishing minimum lot size requirements for R-1 and R-1M Districts.

9.         Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Providing direction to staff concerning possible amendments to Corridor Overlay Ordinance and/or implementation of corridor designation.

10.       Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Compensation for storm water damage.

11.       Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Approval of updated By-Laws for the Robinson Economic Development Committee.

12.       Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Ordinance 2008-008, Amending the Atmos Energy Corporation franchise ordinance.

13.       Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Ordinance 2008-009, Prohibiting outdoor burning with certain exceptions.

14.       Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Ordinance 2008-010, Rabies control ordinance.

15.       Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Mobile data terminals (MDT) for the police department.

16.       Appointments to Robinson Economic Development Committee.

17.       Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Parking large motor vehicles on streets.

18.       City Manager comments:

                        Budget process underway

                        Notice to Proceed issued on street project

19.       Councilmember comments and/or questions: No discussion with or by Council will be held on any matter not listed on an official agenda as required by law.

20.       Adjourn.

*Public Hearings will be held in accordance with procedures set forth in Resolution R-95-011, adopted by the City Council on June 13, 1995.

The Governing Body reserves the right to go into Executive Session on any of the above items as provided by Government Code Chapter 551.
