Community Service

Paint The Town

Point of Truth's youth group, individuals in the community, and the City of Robinson are working together to provide services for the Robinson community. What started out as a youth group doing mission projects for the community has quickly grew into a labor of love for all to join, says David Tenberg. This is a group of individuals who are passionate about the Robinson community and may not necessarily come from Point of Truth church, but felt a calling to join up with the work being completed and provide their services.

Paint the Town Ministries allows all to help and join in the effort to make Robinson a beautiful community. In order to do so, we first have to understand and show love in all we do just as 1 Corinthians 16:14 shares, "Do everything in love." So whether it's mowing a yard, removing debris, painting, cleaning out barns, or wiping down tables, we are here to help.

If you need help in any way for any reason, we will do our best to help you. If you are looking for help in these areas, or if you would like to be a part of Paint the Town Ministries, please call David Tenberg at 254.315.8392 or you can email David Tenberg.

The Robinson Food Pantry is in the second year of service providing to those in the community who are in need of supplemental food. On October 17, 2015, the pantry served a record number of 81 families which included 10 new families feeding a total of 195 individuals. Thanks to all involved!

The food pantry is open at 106 Lyndale in Robinson on the first and third Saturdays of the month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The pantry is available to anyone who is in need of supplemental food.

The number of volunteers helping with the monthly needs of the pantry have been incredible as well as those who have donated funds and food. Both are greatly appreciated and the pantry directors have enjoyed working with those who have chosen to come alongside and serve willingly.

The monthly schedule for those who volunteer is below: Information to come.....

If you would like to volunteer with the pantry, you will need to contact Sonya Rawlings via email who will pair you up with the church who is caring for the pantry that month.
