Remote Court Appearance Due to COVID

The court is committed to following the Supreme Court’s Emergency Orders and guidance issued by the Office of Court Administration regarding social distancing, maximum group size, and other restrictions and precautions. Following the Supreme Courts Emergency Orders and guidance issued by the Office of Court Administration, Robinson's Municipal Court will begin holding court appearance's remotely. 

Request a Remote Court Appearance

A request can be made to appear remotely to resolve your offense over video conference by submitting the Request a Remote Court Appearance Form. Please Note: You will need access to internet, video, and a microphone to appear remotely.

If you do not have any of the devices required for the virtual hearing, you may contact the court for alternative instructions or accommodations by calling (254) 662-1415 or emailing e.leyva@robinsontexas.org.

What Happens Once you Submit Your Remote Court Appearance Request?

Be on the lookout for an email with information regarding your remote court appearance. This email will contain the day and time of your remote appearance along with link, meeting number, and password to join the meeting when it is time. 

What to Do When It Is Time to Join the Meeting?

When it is time to join the meeting, it is very important the person required to appear before the court enters their name as it appears on the court record. This is very important because it is how you will be checked in as present and how you will be called upon to enter your breakout session with the judge. If the system prompts you to enter a meeting number or access code, this information can be located on the email or paperwork sent to you.
