Governor Abbott’s Executive Order issued the morning of Friday, June 26th roll back a portion of the Open Texas initiative due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases. The changes in Executive Order GA-28 are:

  • Reduces dine-in restaurant capacity to 50% beginning Monday, June 29
  • Re-closes bars at noon on June 26. Bars may still provide services through a drive-thru, deliver, or take-out
  • Prohibits outdoor gatherings of more than 100 people unless approved by the mayor or county judge
  • Closes rafting & tubing services including the rental of rafts or tubes
