Chlorine Conversion

Chlorine Conversion October 26 to November 28

The City of Robinson will convert our water treatment from chloramines to free chlorine beginning October 26 to November 28. This is a temporary change to the treatment process referred to as a chlorine conversion. This process is used to improve the quality of water being served to our customers and ensure it is free of biofilm growth. During this process, there may be some brief taste and odor changes, but there are no associated health risks. If you have any questions you can call Greg Hobbs, Director of Utility Systems, at (254) 662-1415.
