In 1962 President Kennedy proclaimed May 15th as National Peace Officer Memorial Day to honor and recognize those in law enforcement who have lost their lives in the line of duty. In addition, he declared the calendar week in which May 15th falls as National Police Week. This means National Police Week will fall on May 9th - 15th this year. It is a time to celebrate and memorialize the fallen and disabled officers, and a time to honor and thank all officers that continue to protect and serve. It is with absolute gratitude that we thank all of the Robinson Police Officers and the sacrifices they make to serve our community.
